Russian Whaling Fleet To Call At Wellington
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 1. The master of the Russian factory ship, Slava, advised the Wellington harbourmaster by radin this afternoon that the whaling fleet was hove-to off the coast of the South Island waiting for the tanker Kursk to join them. The factory ship and some of the chasers would refuel from the tanker, which would come on with them to Wellington.
