Disqualification Of Cambridge

Mr Ernest Ward, owner of the New Zealand gelding Cambridge, said last evening he was ’’shocked by the Victoria Racing Club committee’s rejection of his appeal on behalf of the horse. He said the decision to uphold the two-year disqualification on Cambridge meant the V.R.C. had virtually fined him £2OOO.
