Cyclist Injured In Collision

When her cycle was involved in a collision with a car on Riccarton road, near Clyde road, about 10.20 p.m. on Saturday, a young woman suffered head injuries. She is Valerie Ann Syme, of 33 Matai street. Miss Syme was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital by a St. John ambulance and was admitted. The accident occurred at a point where the roadway has been excavated for rebuilding. Late last evening, Miss Syme’s condition was reported to be satisfactory.
