590-Mile Oil Pipe
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) TEHERAN, March 22. The Shah of Persia this week opened a new 590-mile pipeline for refined oil products between Teheran and the Abadan refinery. The pipeline, across mountains and salt desert, will mean. big savings in transport costs by carrying oil products for domestic consumption in Teheran and North Persia.
