Workman Fined At Lyttelton.

Patrick Quinn Middleton, a workman, aged 52, pleaded guilty before Messrs F. E. Sutton and R. H. Duff, Justices of the Peace, at the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court on Saturday to a charge of drunkenness. He was convicted and fined £l. On a charge of damaging two cell cans, valued at £1 13s, to which he pleaded guilty, he was fined £3 and ordered to pay the cost of the cans. On a further charge of damaging a cell door to the extent of £5, he was fined £3 and ordered to pay the amount of the damage.
