R.A.A.F. Air Drop Denied

(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) JAKARTA, Mar. 14. An Australian Embassy spokesman in Jakarta has described as completely false a report that a bomber with identification marks of the Royal Australian Air Force had dropped arms and ammunition to the rebel forces in Sumatra. The British United Press said that the report was in the Jakarta newspaper, “Bintang Timur.” The newspaper, which supports the Indonesian Government, said the plane dropped arms, including bazookas, by parachute.

An Indonesian Government spokesman said an air drop had taken place, but the Government had not received reports identifying the plane.
