Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers 3. The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing, nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters, although this will be done where it seems to be needful, or enter into any correspondence. 4. Letters must not be of more than 150 words in length.
Truth.—Exceeds 150 words.
Textures and Technique.—Thank you. Compliments passed to the artist. Bank Boycott.—You are misinformed about the working of the* World Bank, and the conditions governing its loans. Corbusier.—Signature omitted. In any case, unacceptable beoause it is not factual. City councillors do not “design our buildings"— fortunately. Mother's Meeting.—You misapprehend the position. The architect would not "furnish the airport"; he would design the furnishings which would be ordered through ordinary commercial channels. Clear Waters.—The context made it clear that the machine merely reports data already recorded in it—including whatever date has been assigned to any particular event. /' H. G. Browiip-There must be some limits to the freedom of individuals to repeat their arguments in these columns. We have printed the quotation from the New South Wales Police Commissioner at least twice. If a recognised temperance organisation wishes to contest the reported views of the police cricket team reasonable space will be allowed.
