DEATH OF BOY OF TWO

Thought To Have Drunk Kerosene (New Zealand Press Association) HASTINGS, March 12. A boy aged two who is believed to have swallowed kerosene died in the Hastings Public Hospital this morning. He was: Brian John Tuohy, son of Mr and Mrs Keith Tuohy. of 209 Cambridge street. Levin. He was found vomiting yesterday afternoon, and was immediately treated at the Hastings Hospital, where he died this morning. Death Several Weeks After Injury (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND,. March 12. A man has died in the Auckland Hospital from internal injuries received when he was knocked down by a car several weeks ago. He was: John Hultquist, aged 88, a widower, of Sandringham. Mr Hultquist was taken to hospital after the accident but Jater returned home. Internal injuries later forced his return to hospital where he died. Mr Hultquist was a major in the Salvation Army. Driver Crushed By Tray Of Truck (New Zeaiana Press Associationi 1 TAURANGA, March 12. A truck driver was killed instantly at Papamoa, near Tauranga yesterday afternoon. He was: Mita Henry Malcolm, aged 20, of Rangiuru, Te Puke. It is believed that Mr Malcolm was making an adjustment to the chassis of his truck when the raised tray fell and crushed him.
