GERMAN “ROOF HOUSE.”—Two views of an unusual “roof house,” designed by a German architect for young couples, which is on show at the Ideal Home Exhibition in London. TOP: The high sloping roof section, containing two or three rooms complete with a door. This section can be bought and placed on the site ready for use. BOTTOM: When necessary, the roof section can be raised and a complete “ground floor” section moved into position underneath. The roof is clamped in position and the completed house is ready for occupation.
