Bob Hope Refused Moscow Visit
NEW YORK. March 4. The comedian, Bob Hope, flew back to the United States tonight after trying for seven days to get a visa for Moscow, the American Associated Press reported from London. "There seem to be complications,” he said at the airport. “I don’t know why. I have never said anything against the Russians.” Hope wanted to go to Moscow to film a television show.
