COMMERCIAL Markets Active, Prices Variable
In one of the busiest trading days of the vear recorded turnover on the Christchurch StoclJ Exchange yesterday reached nearly 8000 shares. Government, local body and company'stock was inactive. Price movements were variable. Gains were made by National Bank of Australasia, N2 Refric-' erating, Forest Products and Woolworths. Southland Frozen Meat, N.Z. Insurance, South British Insurance, AW.A., Cox Bros., and E.Z. Industries were easier than m previous local business.
