A Communist China newspaper report says that 156 Roman Catholic leaders in North China’s Hopei province have voted to break relations with the Vatican. Reporting from Hong Kong, the American Associated Press said that the newspaper said the decision was made at a conference of Roman Catholic Church leaders representing 750,000 Roman Catholics in Hopei.
