Dry White Nylon

Carefully To Avoid Yellowing

To make the most of nylon’s quick-drying properties, roll the rinsed garments in a towel to blot off surplus moisture. Remove from towel, shake out garments and hang them up to dry. Never dry white nylon near direct heat or in strong sunlight as both tend to turn the fabric slightly yellow. If white nylon does become yellow gentle bleaching will restore the original whiteness. Makers warn against strong bleaches but a safe bleaching solution is 2oz of Clor-O-Gene to a gallon of water Rinse thoroughly after washing Clor-O-Gene is obtainable at ail stores and a pamphlet giving many uses of this wonder fluid is obtainable by writing to Clor-O-Gene Supplies Ltd., Box 47, Petone.
