Airliner Crashes Into Hill

NEW YORK, Feb. 27.
A British airliner, believed to be carrying 42 persons, crashed into a hili near Bolton, England, today the American Associated Press reported. The first, unconfirmed reports said that 38 of those aboard were killed. Rescue efforts were hampered by heavy snowdrifts blocking roads to the crash.
The plane was a twinengined Bristol freighter, operated by Silver City Airways on a charter flight from the Isle of Man to Manchester.
