Dollars Allotted

For Imports (New Zeaiana Press Association > WELLINGTON. Feb. 27. No indication was given by the Prime Minister (Mr Nash) today as to the extent the Government has issued dollars for imports from dollar-currency countries. Mr Nash was asked if the Government had made some allocation of dollars for certain imports. He replied that when licences were issued for imports from the United States the necessary dollars were provided at the same time.

Library Officers.—Officers elected at the annual meeting of the local authorities section of the New Zealand Library Association at Invercargill yesterday were:— Chairman, Mr H. Browq (Dunedin); secretary-treasurer, Mr A. G. W Dunningham (Dunedin); committee, Messrs D. B. Black (Palmerston North), E. O. E. Hill (New Plymouth), L. A. Allen (Wellington), A. R.
