Identity Of Missing Man

(New Zea Lana Press Association > WESTPORT, Feb. 27. It is assumed by the Westport police that the man who fell from the Westport wharf into the Buller river on Sunday at 11.45 p.m. was Alexander Phillip Tredennick, aged 21, a miner, of Westport He has been missing from his home since that night. The police have been unable to find a body in spite of extensive dragging operations. The build of a person 'seen on the wharf by a naval rating coincides with Tredennick’s description.
