Armstrong and Springhalt—An interim preference dividend of 2} per cent, is payable on February 19. ex February 10.—(PA ) A.C.l.—Australian Consolidated Industries. Ltd. have declared an interim dividend of 5 per cent, on ordinary shares payable on March 31 ex February 24.—(PA.) Carlton Brewery.—Carlton Brewery. Ltd., a main shareholder in Carlton and United Breweries Ltd., today reported a rise in profit for the year to December 31 and lifted its dividend rate from 11 to 12 per cent. In a preliminary report, directors show profit of the parent. Carlton Brewery, at £320,895, a rise of £31,074 on the previous year's. The increase is due to the larger dividends being received from the operating company—Carlton and United. The final dividend will be 7 per cent, on the 10s shares.—Melbourne, January 23.
