COMMERCIAL Sharp Price Movements In Several Stocks
Several shares traded in Christchurch yesterday showed sharp variations in price compared with previous local business. Markets were fairly active, \ d^ s 1 being the wide range of stocks on the sales list, * e ■ Dominion Breweries, sold at 88s 6d, showed a drop of 6s compared with earlier Christchurch busmess this year Yesterday’s price is 6d below the pncepaid m Auckland on Wednesday. Ampol and Gadsdens were slightly weaker. Tekau Knitwear, Watties Canneries and NJZ. Newspapers all made good gains compared with previous local business. N.Z. Newspapers sold at 40s in Christchurch but were steady at 39s in Auckland.
