Refresher, Course At Lincoln

A refresher course In modern languages for post - primary teachers from South Island schools is being held at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, until January 29. The course began yeeterday. About 40 teachers are attending the course, which has been arranged by the Education Department The language, are French and German. Professor R. T. Sussex, professor of modern languages at Canterbury University. is taking a course. The other lecturers are Professor E. W Herd, professor of modern languages at Otago University, Dr. J L. Moffat senior lecturer in languages in the Post-Primary Department of Christchurch Teachers’ College, Mr T. Carter, senior lecturer in German at Canterbury University, Mr K. H. Mulagk, lecturer in German at Canterbury University, and Mr G. S. Troup, liaison officer at Canterbury Univenlty.
