University Beats North Linwood In a senior men’s competition tennis match, which was completed last evening after being stopped by rain on Saturday. University, the comnetition leader beat North Linwood by 65 games to 64 The scores were:—
Singles.—W A. Dickson lost to C. W. Pritchard. 3-6 5-7; B. J. Shirlaw beat M. J Beatty. 0-6. 6-2, 6-1: B. W. Crofts beat T B Harneiss. 6-4, 6-0; B. R Penfold lost tp E Cormack. 6-2. 7-9, 4-6.
Doubles.—Dickson and Penfold lost to Pritchard and Beatty. 3-6, 0-6; Shirlaw arid Crofts beat Harneiss and Cormack. 7-5, 6-4.
