In the six months that I have owned this cap I have travelled six thousand trouble-free miles and very comfortable miles. I find that the cruising speed is fairly high, 50-60 miles per hour giving comfortable driving. The petrol consumption works out a little better than 50 miles per gallon. This is an average of the total gallons used and the miles travelled since the car was new. One trip to Dunedin was made without changing from the top gear and we were oply 41 hours travelling from Christchurch to Roslyn, yet' when we stepped out of the car on the conclusion of the return journey made in the same afternoon we were not in the least tired or achy. This we attribute to , the . independent wheel springing, the comfortable seating and also to the relaxed, effortless driving which one only obtains in cars of the Renault class..
