The other New Zealanders are Geoffrey Lee Martin, of the “New Zealand Herald,” Douglas McKenzie, the official correspondent: with the New Zealand expedi-: tion, and Tom Lloyd, a photographer of the “Otago Daily Times.”

Two other New Zealanders at the Pole have been there before, by tractor. They are Sir Edmund Hillary, who flew back there on Saturday evening with RearAdmiral George Dufek, and Chief Petty Officer. Peter Mulgrew, the radio operator with the New Zealand party, who remained at the Pole station. Several American and British correspondents and photographers are also waiting to report the historic meeting of Sir Edmund Hillary, Dr. Fuchs, and Rear-Admiral Dufek, the only three living expedition leaders to set foot on the bottom of the world. They include Charles Moore, of the United Press; Noel Barber, of the “Daily Mail”; and Stuart Heydinger, “The Times” photographer. Rear-Admiral Dufek’s Neptune was flown by Commander Vernon Coley and Lieutenant Bob Davis.
