Antarctic Crossing
Sir, —“M.T.” asks how much of a sovereign State New Zealand would be had the Battle of Britain and sundry other “close run” occurrences gone the other way. “M.T.”makes no allowance for the notable contribution made by New Zealanders, Australians, and Canadians, without which Britain also might not be a sovereign State today.—Yours, etc.; SOUTHRON. January 16, 1958.
