14 Boats Entered In Moffat Cup
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 19. Fourteen yachts have been in the national Idle-along yachting contest for the Moffat Cup at Nelson next month. This is three more than last year. The entries are: Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Poverty Bay. Waikato. Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki. WanganuiManawatu, Wellington, Nelson, Canterbury, South Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland. R. Williamson, of Wellington, will be defending his title in the champion yacht Ricochet. The first race is on Februarv 10 and the contest will be decided on points over five races.
