INVERCARGILL. January 19. The weather was'showery and cold for the Winton Jockey Club’s summer meeting on Saturday. The track was greasy for the early racing, and was cutting up later in the day. There was a good attendance, considering the unpleasant conditions. The totalisator handled £22,326. compared with £25.625 last year, a drop of £3299 10s.
