England’s women cricketers now touring Australia after their New Zealand visit beat Queensland by an innings and 113 runs at Toowoomba today. . The English side declared at the start of the second day’s play today at their overnight score of two for 253. Queensland was'dismissed for 74 after a first innings of fie. For the Englishwomen D. Macfarlane took two for 8. H. Hegarty one for 13, M. Duggan two for 14, and E. Barker three for 23. The English women once again showed their brilliance in the field with placings that made it almost impossible for the Queenslanders to score except with boundaries.
