Golf Locke’s Success At Johannesburg
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyrtp/rt; (Rec. 7 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG, January 18. Bobby Locke won his second major tournament within a week when he took the Transvaal open championship with a J2-holes aggregate of 276 today. Locke, who had rounds of 68, 69, 68, and 71, finished three strokes ahead of Harold Henning, the defending champion. ' Gary Player, another of South Africa’s brilliant younger players, was third, with 280, after leading for three of the four rounds. Locke won the Western Province open by 11 strokes last Saturday.
