OVERBLOUSES ARE BACK

Return Of Former Fashion Not so long ago a woman would not go anywhere without her suit jacket But fashions change in ideas as well as in styles and it <is now quite proper for a woman to be seen in public in a selfsustaining blouse top. The tailored shirt-waist blouse is still In favour, according to overseas fashion writers. Overblouses, however, appear to be gaining in popularity. Overblouses are being featured in a variety of attractive fabrics and in smart styling. Silk and nylon chiffon is one of the most suitable material, for an overblouse because it falls softly, is easy to wash and needs almost no ironing. Plain or printed silks and lace blouses are worn for evening. Drip-dry cottons are the best to accompany slim skirts and tapered trousers.
