TREE CATCHES FIRE
A tree on a vacant section in Berry street caught fire early yesterday afternoon. The outbreak was attended by one unit from the St. Albans Fire Station.
The owner of the section is Dr. Guy Haskins. It is thought that some children had been playing with matches nearby and had set fire to dead foliage.
Atomic Energy Stamp.—A United Nations postage stamp honouring the new International Atomic Energy Agency will be issued on February 10, it was announced today. Designed by Mr Robert Perrot, a French member of .the Graphic Presentation Unit, it will be in three-cent and eighteen! denominations.— New York, January 8.
