Missing Youths Caught In Hinemoa
The three youths who escaped from the child welfare home at Otekaike, South Canterbury, on Sunday evening were caught aboard the inter-island steamer Hinemoa yesterday.
They were taken ashore from 1 the Hinemoa in Wellington and charged in the Children’s Court with stowing away. They were remanded in custody until January 14. A pre-war light English car. which was stolen from Moorhouse avenue on Monday, was found abandoned Ain Gladstone quay,. Lyttelton, Yesterday morning. |
