Second Earl For Australia

"The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND, January 6. Second Earl has been booked to leave for Sydney on February 10, and it seems unlikely that he will compete at the Wellington Racing Club’s summer meeting starting on January 18.

Because of his wide barrier draw Salaam would not contest the Rangitoto Handicap at Avondale on Saturday, said his trainer, F. Smith, this morning.
