INDONESIANS TAKE OVER DUTCH PAINT WORKS.—The Indonesian flag and the “Red Union” flag fly side by side from the top of a Dutch-owned paint factory and offices in Jakarta. One of the biggest paint suppliers in Asia, the company has been taken over by the Indonesians. Between the flagstaffs is a notice which, when translated, reads: “Property of the Republic of Indonesia.”
