TRAINS COLLIDE IN INDIA
(N.Z. Press Association—Coovriphtf NEW DELHI. January 1. About 15 people were killed and 85 injured when two passenger trains collided near Ambala early this morning. Thick fog was said to be hampering rescue work. The Ambala-Delhi passenger train ran head-on into the stationary Delhi-Pathankot express, wrecking the engines and first class carriages of both trains. Later reports from Ambala. about 120 miles north of New Delhi, said that 30 persons died and 92 others were injured in the collision.
