European Economic Community
(Rec. 9 p.m.) PARIS, January 1. Two treaties creating a European Economic Community and an Atomic Energy Pool (Euratom) for a population of 170 million come into force today. In the six countries involved— France. West Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Luxemburgall barriers to the free circulation of goods, manpower and capital must be removed over a maximum period of 15 years.
