Body Of Drowned Airman Found

(New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE. December 17.

The body of Mr Roger Joseph Foxley, a farmer, of Muriwai, who was pilot of a Tiger Moth aircraft which came down in the sea north of the Pakarae river on Sunday. December 8. was recovered yesterday afternoon. After the aircraft hit the water, the pilot and Mr J. D. A. Faulkner swam through heavy surf off Puatai Rocks to reach the shore. Mr Foxley was last seen within a short distance of the seaward end of the reef.
