Values Firm At Brisbane
(N‘Z. Press Association—Copyrightl BRISBANE, December 17.
Values for good quality wool at the sales here today were firm on yesterday’s levels, particularly, for types free from vegetable fault and in medium to fine types. There was a full clearance of the 18,766 bales offered. Competition was strong in the early part of the sales from the Continent, Japan and Britain, but later in the day British support slackened.
Strong quality wools eased slightly and short and faulty Xools were at times irregular. verage to good top-making wools showed improvement in colour but staple length reflected the dry conditions.
