TAGGED FISH STORY

(Special Correspondent N.Z.P.A.) LONDON, December 10. Two men living in the same house have caught the same fish within a month of each other, says the “Daily Herald” and this in the North Sea where the number of fish runs into billions. “Catch No. 1 was made with a rod and line from Lowestoft beach by Mr Colin Humphreys of Pakefield. Suffolk. “It was a whiting and Mr Humphreys, a Ministry of Fishery official, put it back in the water after attaching a numbered tag to one of its fins. “Catch No. 2 was by Mr B. J. W. Hawker, of the same address. “The number of the tag left no doubt about it being the same fish,” he said.
