Boxing LAVE OUTPOINTED
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) NOTTINGHAM, December 9. Kitione Lave, of Tonga, failed to check his losing run when he was outpointed over eight rounds by the German Hans Friendrich. Lave, possibly the hardest hitting heavy-weight in Britain, nearly ended the fight in short time. With almost the first blow struck he put Friendrich half under the ropes with a left hook for a count of six.
