Press Association—Copyright > (Rec. 11 p.m.) / MELBOURNE, December 10 Neale Fraser beat the South African, Trevor Fancutt, in their quarter-final match in the Victorian singles championship today to win. 6- 6-1, 6-2. In the women’s singles quarterfinals, Miss Angela Mortimer beat Mrs Daphne Fancutt, 9-7, 6-4; Miss M. McCalman beat Mrs M. Hawton, 8-6, 4-6, 6-4; Miss L. Coghlan beat Miss M. Carter, 3-6, 6-3, 8-6; and Mrs B. Collier beat Mrs B. Rae. 7- 6-3. In the other men’s singles quarterfinals, Mai Anderson beat Bob Howe, 6-4, 11-9, 9-11, 6-3; Mervyn Rose beat Roy Emerson, 6-4, 6-3, 6-0; and Ashley Cooper beat Rod Laver, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3.
