BALLROOM DANCING
Examinations Held In Christchurch Ballroom dancing examinations were conducted in Christchurch recently by Miss Bemil Twiggs and Mr Jack' McGregor, of England, and Messrs S. Hollis and W. Wilson, of Christchurch, for the Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing. Outstanding candidates who gained highly commended awards were:— Misses Caroline Hollis (second bar to gold star), Joan Mawson (juvenile silver), Leslie Evans (juvenile gold star), Mrs Vera Breeze (senior gold star), and Miss Valerie Donaldson (senior bronze). Professional examinations resulted: Member, Mrs Ngaira Roderick, M.F.A.T.D.; associate, Mr Bernard Cripps. A.F.A.T.D.
