Students Found In Caves
(Rec. 7 p.m.) KETTLEWELL (Yorkshire), December 10. One of the six students trapped in deep caves below the Yorkshire moors after a sudden flood and rock fall has been brought to the surface. The rest have been found by the search parties. The student, Peter Clough, was able to walk to a waiting ambu lance after having a meal at a nearby youth hostel. He said that the other five were all quite well, but it was expected that rescuers would take several hours to get them all to the surface. Frogmen searched in the darkness and water for hours.
