Canterbury: Moderate north to north-east winds; occasional rain in the high country, elsewhere cloudy skies, with scattered light rain later in the day; mild temperatures. Outlook: unsettled, with some rain. Nelson and Marlborough: Moderate northerly winds; cloudy weather, with occasional rain spreading from the west during the morning; moderate temperatures. Outlook: occasional rain.
