Publisher To Visit N.Z. Next Year
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rcc. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 29. The publisher, Mr Victor Gollancz, will leave London next April on a visit to Australia and New Zealand. “I hope to meet authors and booksellers there. I have a feeling that a great deal is coming out of Australia and New Zealand in the next few years,” the “Manchester Guardian” reported him as saying. Mr Gollancz thinks that a school is emerging in the two countries, where until now there grew only a few isolated talents. He already has a novel about army life by a senior lecturer in English at Auckland University College.
