Information On Patients

Sir, —The B.M.A. is not called upon to make a decision on this pioblem; the Judiciary does that. The importance of the Wellington decision lies in the fact that it establishes an important legal precedent and British law is based on convention and precedent as well as on Statutes. What is worrying the 8.M.A., of course, is the prospect of whole flocks of disgruntled patients taking advantage of this ruling and commencing litigation.—Yours, etc., INTERESTED. November 15, 1957.
