C.I.B. Investigating Waiouru Fires
(New Zealand. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 15. The Criminal Investigation Branch mon assigned to track down the firebug believed to have been responsible for fires in Waiouru military camp began interviewing men yesterday after-
Unless they come across some unexpected clues early their task is likely to be a long and difficult one.
The C. 1.8. men have had to study lists of more than 2000 troops and their dependants, about 60 Ministry of Works employees, and several outside civilian contractors.
Information that will assist the C. 1.8. is being made immediately available from the Army Court of Inquiry without waiting for its findings. This procedure is unusual.
