Athletics TECHNICAL CLUB MEETING
In spite of the cold, some good times were recorded at the Christchurch Technical College Amateur Athletic Club’s evening meeting at Ensor’s road this week. In the men’s 100 yards. D. R. Stephens returned a time of 10.5 sec. and B. Howman, an outstanding junior, ran the 100 yards in 10.8 sec and the 330 yards in 37.95ec.
The best performance of the evening was a jump of 15ft BJin by Miss L. Anderson in the under 16 girls’ section.
