Many names of well-known Canterbury golfers are engraved upon this cup, the premier trophy at stake in the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association’s golf tournament to be held at Templeton on Sunday. The cup, presented by “The Press” in 1937, contains the names of such well-known golfers as C. C. Clements, E. J. Pumphrey, C. H. Elsom, P. H. N. Freeth, C. J. Bonnington, J. Forrest, D. L. Woon, J. L. Blair, W. D. Armstrong, I. Arundel and H. J. Gosset.
