TRADE TALKS IN LONDON

Three-Day Meeting This Month

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 13. Trade talks to be held in London this month between New Zealand and United Kingdom delegations will last three days, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today when he confirmed that the talks will start on November 26. The New Zealand delegation represents meat, dairy, and fruit producers and Government departments. Most of the members of the delegation have already left New Zealand. The delegation leader, the deputy Director-General of Agriculture (Mr R. B. Tennant) is at present attending a Food and Agriculture Organisation meeting in Rome. “The coming talks will cover a full and frank exchange of views on all matters relating to the agricultural policies of the two countries,” said Mr Holyoake.
