Rifle By Man’s Body

(New Zealand. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. T 3.

A man and his wife were found dead in their farmhouse at Te Poi. near Matamata, about 1 p.m. today. Both had been shot. There was a .22 rifle under the man’s body. They were; Terence Mai ven Archer, aged 35;

and Merle Mary Archer, aged 32. Their three children, aged seven, nine and 11, were at school at the time.

The' couple were sharemilkers for Mr J. C. Dudson, of Te Poi.
