Satellite Stamp Issued

The Soviet Post Office has issued a stamp commemorating the launching of the Soviet satellites, Moscow’ Radio reported today.

The stamp show's the earth with a satellite revolving around it, and bears the inscription: “the first in the world Soviet-launched earth-satellite —October 4, 1957.’’
